Big Issues: Shaping Culture, 7 Rules of Cultural Engagement, Keith Hitchman, 19 October 2008 AM

Last Saturday, Trinity was packed for our annual Single Parent’s Fair. Part of Tandem, our work amongst single parents in the church and our community, the single parent’s fair is organised to provide a day of advice on issues such as housing, benefits and finances. As well as practical help with these and many other issues, the day provides many fun and activities for children, and a range of beauty treatments and treats for the parents.

Big Issues: Extreme Generosity, Mark Bailey, 12 October 2008

Over 180 people attended the first week of the Autumn Alpha Course at Trinity Cheltenham, making it the biggest ever Alpha course the church has seen, and probably the largest in the UK outside London.

Alpha has been run at Trinity Cheltenham for 14 years, and some 3000 people from Cheltenham and the surrounding area have attended. In the UK over 2 million people have attended one of the many Alpha courses up and down the country. Worldwide the number becomes a staggering 11 million. Alpha is an opportunity to explore the Christian faith in a relaxed and friendly environment.
