We are pleased to announce that the 2010 heartheadhands day will take place at Trinity Cheltenham on 15th May. heartheadhands is the home of the New Wine worship leaders Network (Central and South West), and this day is for anyone who is involved in the worshipping life of the church throughout the New Wine network and beyond.
The main emphasis of the day will be worship, teaching and ministry – with three of the four sessions being for everyone gathered together, with Kenny Borthwick teaching, and worship led by Jules Woodbridge and David Gate. In addition there will be a range of afternoon sessions specifically aimed at some of the biggest issues facing us as worshipping communities at this time.
Kenny Borthwick is a great friend of New Wine, is on the leadership of New Wine Scotland and is a regular speaker at national and international conferences. I was down at New Wine (LSE) last summer for a day, and Kenny spoke on worship at the main Bible reading in Venue 1 – it was amazing! It was a bit of a cheeky ‘ask’ for him to come and speak at HHH, but thankfully he said ‘yes’! I am sure that these times will be hugely influential and inspiring to us – whether a worship leader, a member of a worship team, or a pastor looking to own and develop your church’s worshipping life.
I have known Nick and Becky Drake for a number of years now, and have led worship with Nick at New Wine in the past. Between them, Nick and Becky have developed some great skills and ideas and songs for family worship – time when the whole church family from the youngest to the oldest get together to sing. As any of us who have tried to make this work, we know it is hard! Nick and Becky have released two cd’s in their Big Family of God series which are packed with great songs for use in church for such times. Their seminar will be key for anyone looking to develop in this whole area.
Jules Woodbridge is one of the worship leaders at Trinity Cheltenham and had led worship with me at New Wine for many years now – she is an inspirational worship leader and songwriter and also is a hugely insightful speaker. Jules will be leading worship and leading one of our seminars. David Gate is also on the staff team here at Trinity and is an amazing worship leader and song writer, having previously led worship at Soul Survivor, with his appearing on their live and studio albums.

As usual, we would like to make this day as accessible and cost effective for everyone, and the day will cost only £3.50 which is payable on the door.
