A team of 17 from Trinity have just returned from a 10-day trip to Narok in western Kenya. It was a fantastic time in every way – thank you to those who prayed for us.
Although staying in the same church compound together, we split into smaller teams each day to go and support and serve alongside our Kenyan friends in different rural settings – in schools, health clinics, local churches, men’s gatherings and on a 4 day evangelistic mission in the back of beyond, going hut-to-hut with the good news of Jesus!
It was all a wonderful privilege; we were so blessed with good health and protection, especially given the nature of the ‘roads’ (!) and the massive downpours of rain at times.
Hearts have been stirred, even broken; spirits lifted by the warmth of welcome we received, the simple strong faith of our brothers and sisters and how that is expressed in loving and strategic action that, by the grace of God, is changing communities for good.
As part of our partnership with the Diocese of Kericho, we aim to send teams out three times a year – see our Kenya page or come and find out more on Tuesday 30th March, 8pm in Trinity House!
