We have an outbreak of polio in Tajikistan. It was mainly limited to the
south of the capital city, Dushanbe, where we live but there are now
cases reported in the capital. There is a nation wide vaccination
campaign currently being carried out by the government. It should be
completed early June. The UNWHO expects that the spread of polio should
be halted. One of our worship leaders had a classmate who died and it is
alleged that it was polio. Please pray that the church would know how to
serve others during this crisis.
Thanks for praying with us.
