We have already had the first 3 weeks and been amazed by what God is doing. Sign ups in advance of the course starting were slow and we thought we would be having a much smaller course than usual. God had other ideas however and sent 15 additional guests along on the first night – and yet another 16 on week 2! Overall guest numbers on the first night were 38 and then 42 on week 2.

Group leaders are feeding back that they are already having some great questions asked during the group discussion time including “what do I have to do to become a Christian?”. Many thanks to everyone who has been praying for alpha, your prayers are definitely being answered.

Your prayers would also be appreciated for:-
- the guests to continue coming to alpha each week

- their ears and eyes to be opened to the good news of Jesus

- as many of the guests as possible to sign-up for the weekend away

- all the admin and planning for the weekend away

Opportuities for service

We are still looking for a couple of people to join the set-up team each Tuesday afternoon from 3pm-4pm in church. This team sets out the group tables/chairs and serving tables etc ready for the evening. It does not involve moving/stacking of the surplus chairs as this is done by a different team the day before.

OUR Police, Our Communities, Our Prayers
