Last Saturday we had a Tandem Beach Party – at Trinity House and in the rain! Apart from the slightly disappointing weather, everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves.
Here are a few photos from the morning:

“Now To Him” – Neil’s New Book! 1:07 pm
Neil’s new book, “Now To Him”, co-written with Simon Ponsonby, will be on sale in Church on Sunday in advance of general release.
Here is WH Smith’s description of the book: “Neil Bennetts and Simon Ponsonby are passionate about seeing the church engaged in authentic, Christ-centred worship. In the current marketplace of ideas and theories about worship where the dangers of self-indulgence, commercialisation and celebrity are increasingly evident, this book unashamedly shouts out the glory and honour of the only One worthy of our affection: Jesus Christ. It paints a glorious picture of the One we worship, the risen, glorified Son of God. It calls the church back to the heart of worship – loving Him with heart, mind, soul and strength. Along the way it is not afraid to ask some hard questions of those leading and shaping worship in our churches today.”
The authors each contribute six chapters, looking at biblical aspects of worship. They tackle worship and holiness; worship with passion; worship and the danger of idolatry. How, they ask, can we rediscover the mystery of an encounter with God, in corporate worship? How can leaders open themselves and their congregations to the heart of God, releasing his presence and power? How should we craft the unique dynamic of a people gathered to sing to God?
