King’s Table welcomes into the church community those who are in particular need or vulnerable. Our guests receive a two course hot meal and the chance to relax and enjoy friendship and support. Numbers have greatly increased over the last year and we are regularly serving around 80 people. We meet for ‘Monday Church’ at 10.30 on Mondays, with worship, a short talk from the bible and prayer, and can attend either the King’s Table Alpha Course or a Discipleship Group on Friday mornings at 10.30.

Clients are also offered courses in stress management, drama, and pottery.

Please look out for requests for non-perishable food, toiletries, warm clothing, blankets etc. in the news sheet, as we aim to give such items out on a regular basis to people in need. Although we have a brilliant team of volunteers to help in the kitchen and with supporting the guests, we do regularly look for more help so do give Sue Lang a call at the Trinity Offices if you are interested in joining the team or would just like to find out more about what we do.
