SHORT-TERM TRIPS
We want to positively encourage involvement in short-term trips. If you were to ask most missionaries how God gave them a heart for mission, many of them would look back to a short term trip they were involved with at the start of their journey. However, these trips are definitely not just for those budding missionaries amongst us! These can make a real difference to the people that we visit and are a great experience and opportunity to serve, whether or not you are thinking of mission longer term.

Kenya – June 2012
Purpose of trip? Serving alongside our partners in Kenya, based in the Narok area with a possible building focus for part of the team.
When? 15th – 25th June
Approximate Cost? £1000 – provisional!

Kenya – October 2012
Purpose of trip? Serving alongside our partners in Kenya, based in the Transmara area. Part of the team will have opportunities for teacher training for local schools.
When? 19th – 29th October
Approximate Cost? £1000 – provisional!

Romania – May 2012
When? 26th May – 9th June 2012 (one week, or two).
Purpose of Trip? Serving in Special Needs school and in local community.
Provisional Cost? £250 for one week, £350 for two weeks.
Deadline for Application? 1st April 2012

India – November 2012
Purpose of trip? The main purpose of the camp will be to equip the senior & junior leaders of the youth to lead and strengthen their walk with God.
When? November 7th – 15th 2012
How long? 1 or 2 weeks (in the past people have extended their stay either end for holiday)
Approximate cost? approx £1200
