A Trinity Internship is a part-time programme, for the duration of one academic year (during term time). The internship requires you to work 2 days (15 hours) per week – one of which must be a Thursday – plus your weekend commitment as agreed with your overseeing pastor. It combines theological tuition with first hand experience of what it takes to make a large church operate.

The training programme will include the following elements:

1. Lecture room teaching and biblically based courses of study
2. Staff training days and weekly staff prayer meetings
3. Hands on experience of serving and training in your designated field of ministry

The programme will provide opportunities and challenges for every aspect of an intern’s character, from their servant heart and compassion to their sense of humour and stamina!

Quotes from Trinity Interns

“It has been a great time of being transformed by the Lord in a supportive environment”

“This year has enabled me to learn more about being an active part of God’s church and where it is that God has called me to be in this. God has also used my time as an intern to show me more about who He intended me to be. I have felt God using this year to continue moulding and refining me while in a safe environment, which excites me for what He has for me after this year.”

“I found I have widened the path of my spiritual journey and personal relationship with the Lord by serving on a challenging, motivating and very rewarding Trinity Internship”
