Hilarious comedians Paul Kerensa and Fran Garrity will be with us for our Alpha Comedy Night on Thursday 27th September 2018.

Paul Kerensa

Writer for BBC1’s Miranda and Not Going Out, among countless others, Paul Kerensa’s the in-demand comic who plays comedy clubs and cathedrals. He’s one of the few to have appeared both at London’s Comedy Store and on Radio 2’s Pause For Thought. A decade into his stand-up career, Paul’s one-man show has played to packed-out churches and other venues over the last few years, including festivals from Spring Harvest, Greenbelt and New Wine, to the Edinburgh Fringe and Montreal Comedy Festival. Most recently, he part of the writing team for TFI Friday and Top Gear.

Fran Garrity

Fran Garrity has an assured delivery of finely crafted material, that saw him in early into her career win All Jokes Aside in 2011. That launched him into a position of ‘one to be watched’ on the Northern circuit, from his base on Teesside. In 2015 he made it to the final of the prestigious FAF Breakthrough Act Competition and went up to the Edinburgh Fringe to co-host The Clean (As Possible) Comedy Show.
