HeartHeadHands Day 2012
HOSTED BY NEIL BENNETTS AND JULES WOODBRIDGE
Heartheadhands CSW 2012 will be held at Trinity Cheltenham on May 19th 2012. It is a day to inspire and envision anyone who is involved in the worshipping life of the church throughout the New Wine network and beyond.
The emphasis of the day will be on gathered worship, teaching and ministry, where we hope to further understand the place of worship in the Kingdom of God.
Registration is 9.30 for a 10am start. The whole of the morning session is devoted to worship, teaching from our main speaker, and ministry. After lunch there is a chance to choose from a number of seminars and lectures, and then at the end of the day we gather together again for some more worship teaching and ministry.
For the first time this year we will be having a HeartHeadHands Youth Stream. The Youth Stream will join the main stream for worship at the start of the day, and then have a range of seminars, worship and interactive sessions specifically aimed at the under 20’s. The Youth Stream will be hosted by Matt Macaulay (previously of One-Life conferences) and Sam Bailey (from Trinity Cheltenham).
Main Stream Hosts – Neil Bennetts & Jules Woodbridge
Neil Bennetts is the Worship Pastor at Trinity Cheltenham where he has been leading worship for 17 years. He has led worship at New Wine for many years, appearing on many of their live and studio albums. He has recently written and book on worship with Simon Ponsonby called Now to Him and is the writer of many songs that are part of the worshipping life of New Wine churches, such as Name above all names, What can I say?, O Perfect Love and The King has Come. Jules Woodbridge is one of the worship leaders at Trinity Cheltenham, has led worship at many New Wine conferences and is also on the teaching team at Trinity.
Main Stream Keynote Speaker (1) – David Ruis
We are really excited that DAVID RUIS will be coming to be our main speaker for the day. David is one of the most strategic and prophetic voices in worship at the moment: he is currently leading a new church plant in LA, USA and is a great friend of New Wine and Trinity Cheltenham. He is the writer of the songs ‘I will worship’, ‘Mercy is Falling’, and ‘Let Your glory fall in the place’. David will be doing the teaching in the main morning session, and a seminar for the youth stream in the afternoon.
Main Stream Speaker (2) – Paul Oxley
Paul Oxley is another great friend of HeartHeadHands, and was one of the seminar speakers at HHH2011 and NewWine 2011. He brings his unique combination of insight, humour and passion for Jesus to his communication. Paul will be speaking at our final gathering of the day.
Speakers & Worship Leaders
Eoghan Heaslip
Eoghan Heaslip is a worship leader and church leader who originally hails from Dublin, but who now helps leads All Saints Church Worcester. He has been a regular worship leader for New Wine in recent years, and has written many songs that have been used throughout New Wine churches, including The King has come (a co-write with Neil Bennetts) and Glory to You.
Lauren Keenan
Lauren heads up the worship team at St Aldates Church in Oxford, a city church which has a thriving student community. Lauren is passionate about leading people into the presence of God and exploring how this works alongside prayer and intercession- she is passionate about seeing more of the revelation of God through us experiencing Him in worship. Lauren enjoys leading worship outside of St Aldates and last year led worship at New Wine CSW, Love Oxford and the Next Generation Conference. Lauren married Luke in March of this year.
Dr Crispin Fletcher Louis
Dr Crispin Fletcher Louis is the principal of WTC, which works in partnership with New Wine to deliver theological education. He is one of the most cutting edge and forward looking theologians of his generation, and will be bringing a theological lecture to HHH 2012. This is ideal for those who want to be stretched a little more in the theological understanding of worship, or who would value a taster of what it would be like to study theology through WTC in the future.
Melody Ball & Sam Bailey
Our worship for the day will be lead by Sam Bailey and Melody Ball, who are bother worship leaders at Trinity Cheltenham and have led worship at New Wine conferences.
Youth Stream Hosts – Matt Macaulay & Sam Bailey
New to HHH 2012 is a youth stream – specifically aimed at gathering the under 20’s for their own tailor-made programme. The Youth programme will be led by Matt Macaulay and Sam Bailey. Matt leads worship at New Wine Youth and until recently was part of the leadership of OneLife Conferences. He has just released his new album LifeLight. The programme is still being put together, but in addition to Sam and Matt, David Ruis will do an afternoon seminar.
The cost for the day is only £7.50 (£5.00 for the Youth Stream) You need to book your place on-line well in advance as the spaces will be limited and we would not like you to be disappointed. To book on-line, click on the button on this page and it will direct you to our on-line booking system.
The main emphasis of the day will be worship, teaching and ministry – with three of the four sessions being for everyone gathered together. In addition there will be a range of afternoon sessions specifically aimed at some of the biggest issues facing us as worshipping communities at this time.
