Help building strong and healthy marriages
We run several different courses for married couples, each with an emphasis on different aspects of married life.
Maximise Your Marriage
For couples who want to explore what happens when we put God at the center of our marriage. Engaged and married couples are invited to join us on the Friday evening with a romantic three course candle lit meal, interspersed with some thoughts and teaching, followed by a day of teaching on the Saturday. The course is a delightful mixture of practical hints and tips underpinned by biblical principles.
Set in a relaxed, non-threatening environment, short talks are followed by an opportunity to discuss things together as a couple (not in a group!)
We will look at how to understand each other better, how we cope with life’s challenges, how we communicate and even how to disagree without being disagreeable! Discover the three seats of decision making, hindrances to love and how to prevent marital drift.
Led by: Steve & Chris Hughes.
Where: Trinity House, Trinity Lane, GL52 2NX
Cost: £20 per couple.

Love That Lasts
This course – based on Imago teaching – is a workshop for couples.
Focusing on good communication, the purpose of this course is to help couples reconnect and rediscover the passion, romance and intimacy in their relationship.
The course is led by Margy Wakefield – a professional marriage counsellor – who brings many years of marriage counselling experience to us over these two sessions. The focus for this course is on successful and clear communication.
Topics covered include: understanding our past baggage and childhood influences on our relationship, stages in relationships, communication skills: structured dialogues, neuroscience in relationships, handling frustrations well, sex and the stages of relationships, and cherishing.
Led by: Margy Wakefield.
