Trinity Church are hosting an evening with Joel Edwards on Tuesday 3 June at 7.30pm, with an opportunity to hear a presentation by Joel and to engage in a Question and Answer session with him.
Joel Edwards is one of the foremost Christians leaders in the UK. He is the General Drector of the Evangelical Alliance UK, and a passionate advocate of both diversity and unity within the church that results in real change in real lives and communities. Among his leadership roles, he chairs the International Council of Micah Challenge, a ministry to the world’s poor, and is an honorary Canon of St Paul’s Cathedral. He is a regular speaker on Thought for the Day on Radio 4.
He is currently touring the UK speaking to the Christian Community, initiating a conversation addressing Christians in contemporary culture and starting a conversation around their role in society today and into the future.
Joel will argue that the church is not called to tip-toe through the 21st century, but to transform society by presenting Christ credibly to the culture. Based on the exciting new book by Joel called ‘An Agenda for Change’, the tour aims to start a conversation that will continue to transform the church in the UK and beyond.
