Being Good News

In the face of so much fear and uncertainty, we have an amazing opportunity to speak and to live out the love of Jesus:

  • Make contact with people where you live

We actively encourage every member of Trinity to make contact with people where you live to see how you can offer hope, prayer and practical help, especially to the lonely, elderly and vulnerable. Many of our Life Groups are coordinating around needs identified by their members – please let us know if we can help with advice and sharing ideas.

  • Practical provision of food or other urgent supplies

If you or anyone you know needs the practical provision of food or other urgent supplies please contact the church office or ring on 01242 808780.

On Mondays and Fridays the ‘King’s Table’ team will be serving take-away meals from the entrance of Trinity House (church and carpark side) between 12-1pm. We are also giving out food parcels – please don’t be too proud to ask if you need this help.

If you need financial advice our Money Ministry team can help, please contact here.

  • Food donations

Food donations can be dropped off outside the Trinity Lane entrance to Trinity House, Mondays and Fridays between 10:15-11:15am and 2-4pm. Other time slots available with prior arrangement. Click here to see the items which are needed.

  • Financial donations

Financial donations for Trinity to use in supporting those in need can made through our Give page by selecting ‘Transform Ministries’ under the options for regular giving or via direct BACS transfer, please stateing this purpose in the reference.

  • Serve on team

If you might be able to help by serving on a team (and have no health needs or are in contact with anyone who could be vulnerable) please contact us. However, please note that teams are being kept to the minimum numbers required.

Want to reach out in a practical way to show God’s love and kindness?

We have made up some really simple cards that you can download, print, personalise and give out to your neighbours.

You can even take photos of what you get up to to share what you do online with #coronakindness.
