Jobs at Trinity
About Trinity Cheltenham
Trinity is a large and thriving church in the beautiful Spa Town of Cheltenham. Distinctively evangelical and charismatic in values and style we have around 1000 members and many exciting areas of ministry.
We are the largest anglican church in the Diocese of Gloucester and one of the larger Church of England congregations in the UK outside of London.
We are committed to making followers of Jesus who change communities and nations for him. We are passionate about connecting people from all walks of life to Jesus through sharing the Word of God and ministry in the power of the Spirit. Trinity is an integral part of the New Wine network and aspires to continue to grow into all that the Lord has for us in Cheltenham, South-West England, the UK and beyond.
- Kids Pastor - Trinity is looking for a ministry leader and pastor who lives and breathes for kids, and their parents and carers to be at the heart of church family and our mission. We are a large charismatic evangelical church based in the centre of Cheltenham with a heart to see people transformed by the love of Jesus and in the power of the Spirit. The church draws people from across a very wide area. We are a community of 500+ adults (a large percentage of whom are students and young adults aged 18-34), 100+ youth and 200+ children.
This is a full-time multifaceted role serving as part of a collaborative team. The post is based on 42.5 hours per week to give a realistic expectation of scope and workload. The post holder must be able work very flexibly and adjust as necessary to fulfil the responsibilities of the role at peak times as well as ensure quality time off for rest and relaxation. In addition to their holiday allowance, the post-holder will be supported to take regular and consistent times out for prayer, retreat, study, mentoring and training.
It is a Genuine Occupational Requirement under the Employment Equality (religion or belief) Regulations 2003 that the Worship Pastor is a truly committed Christian, in full support of the ministry of Trinity and at one with Trinity’s ethos, vision and objectives.
As part of Trinity’s commitment to safeguarding we have a robust Safeguarding Policy in line with the Diocese of Gloucester and the Church of England - this available to view on our website. As part of our safeguarding policy, we seek to follow all recommended practices for ‘safer recruitment’
