Race Week at Trinity
Every year, Cheltenham Racecourse hosts the “Cheltenham Festival”. We have lots going on that week that you can get involved with!

Whilst there’s lots of fun and celebration, there is a darker side to it as human trafficking intensifies across the local area. As the tens of thousands of racegoers pour down either side of Trinity at the end of each day, we invite them to talk with us as we hand out doughnuts and flyers so we can raise awareness.
Tuesday 14th, Wednesday 15th and Thursday 16th March || 5pm-6:30pm
We meet at Trinity to pray and go out in pairs along Portland Street and Winchcombe Street.
-
Race Week is also an amazing opportunity to share the Good News of Jesus, so there will be teams to go out to pray with people on the streets.
Meeting at 6pm for briefing and prayer in Trinity Cheltenham Church before heading onto the streets to pray and give out leaflets from 6:30pm - 8pm. Followed by a debrief.

On Wednesday 5th March at 7pm, we will also be hosting IJM who work globally to end modern day slavery. They’re coming to join us for a time of prayer as they tour local churches to see a wave of prayer activated across the UK. See here for more information.
The following week you can join in at St. Matthews we gather for the Love Cheltenham Prayer Evening as Cheltenham churches together for praise and to pray for our town, as we seek to share the gospel of Jesus Christ.
